The Bacteria: Turicella otitidis is an anaerobic, non-motile, pleomorphic, gram-positive bacillus – similar to coryneform but longer.It produces a convex whitish/cream-coloured non-haemolytic colony.CAMP test positiveDNase and Catalase positive.Oxidase negative.
